Azalea and José, two Ecuadorian siblings who, since they were little, their father transmitted to them the love of nature.
In 2020 they wanted to demonstrate the potential that the countryside has to produce food by founding Pepagri S.A. and its brand ¨SACHA SAMAY¨ words in Quichua that mean SOUL OF THE JUNGLE.
And what better way than using one of the fruits that can be used the most, THE GOLDEN SEED (cocoa).
Its first products are cocoa nibs, dark chocolate bars and chocolates.

Sacha Samay are two words in Quichua that mean Soul of the jungle.
It refers to the power that the jungle has to produce food, taking into account that to Pepagri´s main raw material comes from the Salto del Tigre located in Cotacachi, a place that is characterized by its richness of flora y fauna.
The meaning of its acronym is Pentagon of Agricultural and Industrial Production.
Pentagon is due to the work of 5 fundamental axes that focus on sustainability.
This agroindustrial project search to produce, market and export, mainly products derived from cocoa, palm heart and coffe. Pepagri is created in order to improve the social and socioeconomic development of the country´s agricultural sector, providing work opportunities and business alternatives to farmers.
